A workspace defines collaboration boundaries

Members access shared records according to their permissions. Joining several workspaces does not automatically expose one workspace's data to another.

Check the current workspace and your role before working with orders, inventory, tasks or reports.

Assign roles to match the work

Owners, administrators, members and viewers have different management and operational scopes. A colleague who needs to read records may not need management permissions.

Cost and report visibility may also be limited. Available actions and returned data are subject to server-side permission checks.

Keep context with the task

Set an owner, due date and clear description. Use subtasks to divide work, and comments and attachments to preserve useful context.

A shared task link does not make all business records public. The recipient must still meet sign-in and workspace access requirements.

Handle ownership before deletion

If a workspace you own has other members, transfer ownership before deleting your account. Solely owned workspaces and shared records have different deletion outcomes.

Read the account and data deletion page and export records you are authorized to retain. Contact support if you need help verifying a request.
